Your Love

TODAY’S VERSE

“Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant-I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”
Psalms 73:21-24 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Lies, false assumptions and unfounded predictions too often drive us to despair. The fear, anger and sorrow they bring us cause us to do questionable things. Here is the Psalmist. He too was torn up inside. What he believed made him bitter, foolish and even ignorant to God. But when He came to his senses, he saw how bad he was before God and repented. Have you been there? You know, those times when God should have given up on you? But please, let it sink in, He doesn’t give up! The amazing truth is that God forgave him, comforted him, counseled him and continued to guide him. God’s love caused him to write, in this same passage, one of the most beautiful verses ever written about God. “Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” Today, might this same reality sink deep into our heart.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Dear Jesus, my heart cries, “Hallelujah, what a Savior!” I know I don’t always live the way I should. I know many days my attitude is all wrong. But today, I know You forgive me. I know that You will never abandon me. I know that You are committed to my maturity. Help me remember this as I live out this day.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
