It’s Your Choice

TODAY’S VERSE

“So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering His glorious miracles and obeying His commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors-stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.”
Psalms 78:7-8 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
We have choices. This new generation had to choose whether they were going to treat God like their ancestors did or follow a different way. Those before did not choose to follow God. They were rebellious, unfaithful and stubborn. They refused to give their hearts to God. But now, for this new generation, it was time for them to choose. Would they follow the old way or choose a new way? Thankfully, they remembered God’s goodness and decided to follow Him. It started with a choice, a choice to break from the bad and follow the good. Now, anyone who has struggled with behavior knows that “one” choice won’t get a person through a life time. Life is full of choices. This generation’s ancestors did not start out rebellious and stubborn, but became so one choice at a time and soon they were far from who they use to be. Where are you? Are you refusing to give your heart fully to God? Where has the road you’ve followed taken you? Which side of this generation gap represents you? It’s not too late; a new pathway is only a choice away- Today choose to follow God.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, thank You for the freedom to choose. Thank You that by Your grace it is never too late to follow You. That is what I want; I want to follow You. Help me to that end.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
