“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What a glorious hope we can have in Christ. Paul prays for the church in Rome and we can claim this same prayer for ourselves. He prays that God will fill us with joy and peace. Not just “fill” us, He desires to completely fill us with joy and peace. How can He do this? He can do this because is the source of all hope! And what do we need to do? What is our part in all of this? Our part is to trust. Simply trust and He promises that we will overflow with a confident hope, powered by the Holy Spirit. Today, let us put our trust in Him, the source of all hope.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me trust in You. As I trust please give me your promised hope. Oh Lord, turn that hope into joy and peace so I will overflow with a confidence through the power of the Holy Spirit.
