Stronger Faith

TODAY’S VERSE

“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.”
Romans 4:20 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
How does that happen? How does one’s faith grow stronger? Abraham knew God and he was constantly being challenged by his life’s circumstances yet his faith grew stronger. Paul shares, “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise.” God called Abraham and promised that through him He was going to start a new nation. Hard times came he remembered, “God promised.” Time passed and yet he remembered, “God promised.” When he faced the challenge of his life with his son on the alter, he leaned on the fact that “God promised.” Each time Abraham remembered God’s promise, his faith grew. Peter said it this way, “He (God) has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” God’s promises are true. He has promises for you, but they do you no good if you don’t know them. Today, get to know God’s word and all the promises He has for you and start to believe for yourself.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me know and believe Your promises. Help my faith grow stronger, even today. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
