Come Boldly

“Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested. – So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Hebrews 2: 18; 4:16 (NLT)

Life has stress. It begins when we are born and continues up unto the day God takes us home. God knew this so He created us to be resilient, returning to peace and joy from painful emotions. How is this done? By turning to Jesus. He knows our stress. We can bring it to Him. Jesus who Himself went through trials, suffering and testing is “able to help us when we are being tested!” This is why the author suggests that we come boldly to God with our deepest needs. Today we can be resilient. We can bring our stress to Him and “receive the mercy and grace to help us when we need it the most.”

Dear Jesus, thank You for Your grace, mercy and love. Help me to come boldly to Your throne and receive the help I need when I need it the most.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
