Gateway Of Hope

“I will – transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope.”
Hosea 2:15 (NLT)

We have our valleys of trouble don’t we. In this particular passage the troubles were self inflicted. How many times have we been the cause of our own troubles? And yet, God’s mercies are not shaken. His love for us does not stop! Instead, He turns our valley of trouble into a gateway of hope. What a beautiful metaphor. A gateway is an escape from trouble and a doorway to hope. Isn’t that how God works? He takes our smallest step toward escape and turns it into a journey of hope. Today, no matter what trouble you have, no matter how hopeless it seems, God wants to give you a way out. You may be in a deep, deep valley of trouble, but today God wants to turn it into a gateway of hope. Come and let Him transform your trouble.

Dear Father, You know the trouble I have. You have said that You would transform my valley of troubles into a gateway of hope. How I need that transformation. Work in my heart now, dear Lord. Show me the way, that I may follow it, and find the peace, joy and rest I have been looking for.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
