God Loves You

TODAY’S VERSE

“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17 (ESV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is one thing to think of how we should devote our lives to God. It is another to think of how God devotes His life to us! Zephaniah was telling a broken and disheartened people not to despair. Not to worry for God cares for you. He told them that God was in their midst and that He was mighty to save them. More than that, Zephaniah painted a word picture that should have filled them with joy. He told them that God Himself rejoiced over each and every one of them. That God personally would quiet their hearts with His love and that when it is all said and done, if they would listen, that they could hear Almighty God singing and praising over each of them. What a picture. What a reality. Today, know that God loves you, He rejoices over you with gladness and He is singing praises all about the love He has for you.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, how my heart rejoices in knowing that You care so much for me. How can I even begin to fathom it? Today, dear Lord, open my eyes that I can truly see the love You have for me. Thank You, Lord!
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however,that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
