Forgiveness

TODAY’S VERSE

Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.
Psalm 65:3 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
When do you cheer your son or daughter during a race? Right from the first step! If they are last, it doesn’t matter. There they are trying their heart out and you are cheering like it was the Olympic Gold Medal. Why do we think God is any different? Why do we picture this austere entity that is only pleased at perfection? Surely, we must have salvation for our sins, but not perfection for His love. The Psalmist says it best. Though you and I can become so overwhelmed by our sins; though we can feel like quitting; though we can feel so broken and defeated, yet there is God. And God forgives it all! Isn’t it time you joined Him? Today, listen to God’s run the race, right next to you, ecstatically cheering you on.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Heavenly Father, how thankful I am for Your love. How overwhelmed I get at my own sin, yet how much more amazing is Your forgiveness. I accept Your love today with much thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
