Amazing Grace

TODAY’S VERSE

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
I Chronicles 29:14 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
David knew about God’s grace and mercy. He loved God and was constantly amazed by His love. So when it came time to build a Temple to honor God, David gave all of his vast treasure to the project. He did not hold back. Neither did the people. A great collection was made of gold, silver, lumber, jewels and other riches in order to build the Temple. When the collection was finished David was humbled and grateful. He wrote, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you?” He was amazed by God’s grace. Are we? How can we sing the song Amazing Grace and still not get it? How can we live our life and not feel what David was feeling? Who are we that He would love us unconditionally? Yet, He does. Today, let us stop and consider how amazing God’s grace really is!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for Your grace, love and mercy toward me. Today help me to really know deep in my heart, how amazing Your grace really is.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
