Anxiety

TODAY’S VERSE

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
I Peter 5:7 (ESV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is so easy to worry. We start to believe lies about ourself and more importantly about God. We begin to doubt our own worth and His great love for us. With our mind full of false beliefs we make predictions, horrible predictions that cause us to worry and fret. Peter knew this all too well. He had worried when Jesus was taken to be crucified. He let his mind get the best of him and when Jesus was being tried and beat, Peter denied that he ever knew Him. He let his fear overshadow the love that Jesus had for Him. Years later, he wrote to the church and shared what he had come to know as true. He told them to cast all their worries and concerns once and for all on Jesus. Why? Because Peter had experienced the fact that Jesus deeply cares for him. Today, let this same affection that Jesus had for Peter fill you with courage. Come to Him and cast all your cares on Him.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Jesus, thank You for Your love and affection for me. I come to You today because You care for me and I cast all my concerns and worries at Your feet.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
