That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever felt like giving up? You are trying to do the right thing. You have put your faith in God. And yet everything seems to go wrong. You ask yourself, “Why try?” “What difference will it make?” You feel like throwing in the towel, but then the Spirit of God, the comforter, comes and renews your heart and mind. Paul experienced this. He wrote, “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” That is why Paul never gave up. God renewed his inner being over and over again. God will do the same for you. Come to Him today. Tell Him your burdens. Let Him know your worries and cares. Pour out your heart to Him and let your spirit be renewed.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Lord, help me today I pray. You know my burden. You know my need. Renew me in my inner being, so that I will never give up being who You want me to be.
AMEN
