TODAY’S THOUGHT
We all need encouragement. With all the pressure and stress we live under it is easy to become frustrated, disillusioned and discouraged. But most of our discouragement comes out of a mindset that does not include God with all His love and power. God makes all the difference in the world. Today include God in your plans. Speak to Him about your frustrations and disappointments. Bring Him all your needs. Ask Him for wisdom and discernment. As you do, you will be able to say with Paul, “But God, who encourages those who are discouraged, encouraged me.”
TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Lord, remind me of Your love for me. Help me to understand Your power. Help me to lean on You and not my own understanding. Here is my heart, encourage me I pray. In Jesus’ name.
