Intercede

Intercede

TODAY’S VERSE
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
Romans 8:26 (ESV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever had someone intercede for you? You were way over your head and didn’t know what to do. Then someone came along, someone who knew exactly what you needed, and took care of the situation. How can you even begin to thank them? You were without hope and then they came and rescued you. Paul says that is the way it is with the Holy Spirit. We don’t know what to do. We don’t even know how to pray, but, praise God, He himself comes in the person of the Holy Spirit and intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. God’s pure love is that way. It is way beyond our comprehension. Today thank God for interceding for you. Thank Him for His love that helps you in ways you can’t even imagine.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank You for Your love. Thank You for helping with my weaknesses and interceding for me with groanings too deep for words.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
