Tender Mercies

TODAY’S VERSE

He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
Psalms 103:4 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever had untender mercies? You know where someone gives you a break but humiliates you, threatens you, assures that you know you owe them? That is not tender mercies! But here the Psalmist is saying that God’s mercy is tender. Think of that word—Tender– a tender touch, a tender kiss, a tender look—God’s is a tender mercy! How can I begin to express how tender His love is for you? God comes to you with His tender mercy and is ready and able to forgive you for all your transgressions. David, in another part of the Psalms, wrote, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Today, don’t shy away. Come to God for His forgiveness. Come to God for His love. Let Him pour out on you all of His tender mercies.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for Your tender mercies. How I love You, how my heart praises You for all Your love toward me.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
