TODAY’S VERSE

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
Psalms 73:26 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is easy to grow weary and lose heart. Paul knew this. He openly discussed his hardships in the ministry. But he also knew the cure for weariness. It was God. God gives us the ability to press on. Paul wrote, that even in all his struggles, “We do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” Paul again shared, “And let us not lose heart and grow weary for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” The Psalmist, centuries before said the same thing. He wrote, “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart.” Today come to God with your weariness. Resolve to never give up and lose heart. Let Him be your strength.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, protect my heart. Be my strength and help me overcome my weariness.
AMEN
