Present Presence

TODAY’S VERSE

But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands.
Psalms 31:14-15 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is so hard to live in the present. We either live in the past or the future. Regrets, beliefs, better or worst times of the past or the fears or thoughts of better days in the future rob us of all that God has for us right now. The secret however to living in the present, is to live in His presence. The Psalmist knew God personally and put all his trust in Him. This allowed him to commit his future into God’s hands and enjoy the present moment. Today, commit yourself to God. Forget the past, and let go of the future. Trust God and live in the awareness of His loving presence.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, help me today live in the awareness of Your presence. Help me surrender my past and trust You with my future. I commit myself to You. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
