Trust

TODAY’S VERSE

This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
Psalms 91:2 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever felt like there was a predator in the room? You know you walk around hyper-vigilant with a sense of fear and dread. There is a hum in your gut, like being in your car at a red light with your foot on the gas. This impending doom is based on what we believe about ourself and what we don’t believe about God. We believe we are unlovable, damaged goods, on the verge of being abandoned, forgotten and banished to a horrible abyss. We don’t believe God really loves us, will protect us, or is safe. However, the Psalmist knew the truth. He declared that God was his refuge, his place of safety. He put his trust in God. He later wrote, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Today, accept God’s invitation and find your shelter in His love. He is your God, you can trust Him.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I come to You today for safety. You are my refuge. You are my God and I put all my trust in You.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
