TODAY’S VERSE
But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.
Romans 5:20 (NLT)
TODAY’S THOUGHT
We can do a lot with our sins. We can rationalize them, ignore them, glorify them, obsess about them, flaunt them, regret them or repent of them. No matter what we do with our sinful behavior, the Bible makes it clear that our sins separate us and God. The good news is there is one thing God can do with our sins that we cannot. He can forgive them, no longer counting them against us. He does that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God, in His grace, forgives us of all our sins. Paul wrote it this way, “So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Today, acknowledge any wrongdoing. Bring it to Him, knowing this, our sins will never exhaust God’s grace.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Thank You dear Lord for Your amazing grace. Thank You that Your grace is greater than all my sins and if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all my wrongdoing.
AMEN
