Lord

TODAY’S VERSE

You must worship Christ as Lord of your life.
I Peter 3:15 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
We love Jesus because He died on the cross for us. We know Him as our Savior but He wants us to take our relationship to a higher level. He wants to be Lord of our life. Joshua told the children of Israel “Serve the LORD alone. But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. – As for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” Centuries later Peter challenges the church to worship Christ as Lord. The word, “Lord” is a title for a person or deity who has authority or control over a person. If anyone could be Lord of our life it is Jesus. He could have made us servants with no will of our own, but instead He gives us a choice. Today, consider who He really is. He is worthy of total surrender. Worship Christ as Lord of your life.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Jesus, thank You for being my Savior. I ask You to be Lord. Guide me, direct me, I give You total control of my life.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
