TODAY’S VERSE

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
Psalms 19:14 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
David knew the secret to living a deeply spiritual life. It started with his mind and emotions. He spent time meditating on God’s love and power. God was his rock and redeemer. He prayed, “Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin.” Because of God’s presence in his life, David’s desire was that whatever he thought and felt, whatever he talked about, would be pleasing to God. Today you have a choice. What will you let your heart mediate on? What are you going to speak about? Pray like David that both your meditation and words may be pleasing to God.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father. Thank You for being my rock and redeemer. Please help keep me from sin and may the meditation of my heart and the words of my mouth be pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN
