Fellowship

TODAY’S VERSE

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is easy to isolate and isolation can lead to sickness both socially and spiritually. Rugged individualism is worshipped in our society, creating a pride that says we are weak if we need somebody else’s help. We are afraid what others might think, so we try to make it on our own. However, the Bible makes it clear that we were made for relationships. When God created us as humans, He said that it was not good for us to be alone. Christianity was built on Christian fellowship. We need each other and are to bear each other’s burdens. The truth is that we are stronger together. Today’s verse makes all of this clear. So no matter what you are going through, don’t go alone. Go with God and ask Him to provide others for the journey. We are in this together!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for making me relational. Help me to forget my foolish pride and seek out good fellowship with others. Help me find true brothers and sisters in Christ that I can share the journey with. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
