Fear

TODAY’S VERSE

Don’t be afraid. I am here!
John 6:20 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
The disciples had just witnessed the feeding of the 5,000. What a miraculous event! That same evening they got into their boat and headed across the lake toward Capernaum. When they were out on the lake, a fierce gale swept down upon them. All of a sudden they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. The Bible says that they were terrified. But the great news is that Jesus, knowing their fear, said, “Don’t be afraid. I am here!” Immediately they were comforted and welcomed Him into the boat. And then the miracle happened. The boat was immediately transported to the shore! What storm are you in? What struggles do you have? Jesus still walks upon the water. He will meet you in the midst of your storm. All you need to do is let Him in the boat.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Jesus, thank You for meeting me in my storms. Thank You for walking toward me. Today, I hear You say, “Don’t be afraid, I am here!” Jesus, I hear You. I trust You. Please join me where I am.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
