High Priest

TODAY’S VERSE

Since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.
Hebrews 10:21-22 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
There have been many ways that mankind has tried to reach God. Doing good works, making statues and giving sacrifices to them. Having another person, a Holy man, intercede for them. In the Old Testament we see that God set up a sacrificial system and using Priests to accept offering from the people as payment for their sins. But then Christ came. He settled our relationship with God once and for all. He sacrificed Himself as our offering and it was finished. We are forgiven and set apart as new person, blameless in God’s eyes. All our sins are forever forgiven. No wonder the author of Hebrews could write, “Since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him.” And so today, you and I can come right into the very presence of God without fear or intimidation. We are loved by God and we can put our trust in that.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for sacrificing Jesus on the cross so I could be forgiven and cleansed from all my sin. Thank You for allowing me to come right into Your presence with a sincere heart fully trusting You!
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
