Living For Jesus

TODAY’S VERSE

“The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
II Peter 1:8 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Peter shared how we are to live. He writes, “Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness.” This is living out our faith. This is experiencing Christ and allowing Him to live through us. He says it this way, “The more you grow in these qualities the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of Christ.” Your experiential knowledge of God will help you live for Him better. That’s because as you get to know Him, your personality, behavior and desires will be more like His. His power, knowledge and most of all, His love will be exhibited in your life. Today, choose to know Him more so you can live for Him better.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me be more productive and useful in my knowledge of You and live the kind of life You want me to. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
