Rejoice

TODAY’S VERSE

So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.
Romans 5:11 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I can understand a person that has just come into a relationship with God rejoicing in the fact that they are a new friend of God. But what about you? Do you know God? Have you recieved Him as your savior? If so, that makes you a friend of God. There is no statute of limitations on the joy that comes with knowing that the Almighty God Himself has declared you His friend. Today, whether you are a new believer or have known God a hundred years, stop and consider what it means to be God’s friend. It is something to rejoice about!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Lord, today I rejoice in this wonderful relationship I have with you. Thank You for declaring me Your friend. Because of Jesus.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
