TODAY’S VERSE

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What a glorious hope we have in Christ. Paul prays for the church in Rome and we can claim this same prayer for ourselves. We can pray that God will fill us with joy and peace. Not just “fill” us; but “completely fill” us with joy and peace. How can He do this? He can do this because He is the source of all hope! And what do we need to do? What is our part in all of this? Our part is to trust in Him. Simply trust in His love for you and He promises that we will overflow with a confident hope, powered by the Holy Spirit. Today, let us put our trust in Him, the source of all hope.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, fill me with hope as I trust in You. Lord, turn that hope into joy and peace so I will overflow with a confidence through the power of the Holy Spirit.
AMEN
