Mighty Things

“With God’s help we will do mighty things.”
Psalms 108:13 (NLT)

Hope can go a long way in helping us through this life. But this was more than hope. This was a belief. It was an expectation! David, though he was a humble shepherd boy, knew that with God’s help he would do mighty things. It was this belief that helped him overcome Goliath. It was this belief that made him a mighty King. David’s belief in God doing mighty things caused him to start the Psalm by writing, “My heart is confident in you, O God.” It was this confidence that got him up in the morning and got him through the day. It was his confidence in the power and love of God that got him through the tough parts of life that he faced. He knew that God would help him do mighty things. How has knowing God changed your expectations? What mighty things are you trusting God for? Today, put your hope in God. He loves you and desires to do awesome things in your life. With God’s help, you will do mighty things.

Father, help me believe You for mighty things today. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will give me a vision worthy of Your power. Truly, with Your help dear Lord, I will do mighty things.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
