Jesus Is Here

TODAY’S VERSE

They were all terrified when they saw him. But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage! I am here!
Mark 6:50 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever been terrified? The disciples experienced it. Mark explains, “Jesus had finished ministry for the day and He told the disciples to cross the lake. Late that night, Jesus saw that they were in serious trouble, rowing hard and struggling against the wind and waves. About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. He intended to go past them, but when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost.” You see they were terrified. But here is the good news. Jesus didn’t wait for them to ask for help; instead, He saw their predicament and spoke to them at once. He saw them in their terror and said, “Don’t be afraid.” There they were completely terrified thinking there was no out, and Jesus opens the door of hope. And why could they have that hope? Because Jesus finished by saying, “Take courage! I am here!” Jesus was there and there was no room for fear. Today, realize this heavenly truth for yourself. Today take courage, let go of your fear, Jesus is here!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Jesus, thank You for coming to me in my storm. Thank You that You have told me to take courage for You are here. Help me be conscious of Your presence. Drive fear far from my heart. In Your name Jesus.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
