Comfort, Hope And Strength

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.
II Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NLT)

Have you ever felt like giving up? Has the pressures of life ever overwhelmed you to the point that you were full of fear? Have you ever found yourself on a merry-go-round of quiet desperation? All of us have had those kinds of times in our life. We all have a story. But here is the good news, Paul wrote a benediction that you can claim as your very own. He wanted you to know that your Lord Jesus Christ and God, who is your loving Father, loves you very much and has been gracious to you giving you a comfort and hope that you can claim as your very own. Also, He has promised to comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing that you do and say. Today, take joy in His promise. Come to Him and claim your comfort, hope and strength.

Dear Lord Jesus and God, my heavenly Father. Today I come to claim what You have promised me. I ask that You bring me comfort, a sense of hope and all the strength I need for this day. In Jesus’ name.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
