Fellowship

TODAY’S VERSE

We sent him to strengthen you, to encourage you in your faith, and to keep you from being shaken by the troubles you were going through.
I Thessalonians 3:2-3 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Fellowship is critical to living our Christian life. Paul was sending Timothy to the Thessalonians to encourage them in their faith and strengthen them. Godly fellowship can do that. How seriously do you take your responsibility as a brother or sister in Christ? How important do you see your role when it comes to those God has put in your life? Part of your responsibility as a disciple of Christ is to be Christ to those around you. You have a huge God given capacity to make a difference. God has put you in the lives of those around you so you can strengthen them, encourage them in their faith and keep them from being shaken by all the troubles they are going through. After all isn’t that what God has done for you?

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, help me be conscious of those around me. Help me look for opportunities to encourage others in their faith, give them strength to move on and to keep them from being shaken by all the troubles they are going through. In Jesus’ name.

AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
