Perseverance

TODAY’S VERSE
You will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
Colossians 1:11 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Most things in life are achieved through perseverance. Without it we cannot mature. Learning, growth, achievement, worthwhile goals in life is all achieved through a process. Without perseverance we will not finish the journey we set out on. So Paul prays. He prays for the church that they would be strengthened with God’s glorious power. His power enables us to hang in there. The Holy Spirit comforts and empowers us to endure, to be patient, to wait. One step after another, one day at a time God helps us persevere. The joy is not in the goal as much as it is the journey. Today, tap into the power God has available for you. Come to Him; ask Him to make you aware of His presence. In the power of His presence you will find all the endurance and patience you need.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I cannot persevere without You. I need the strength that comes from Your glorious power. Today make me keenly aware of Your presence and give me all the endurance and patience I need.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
