Faith

TODAY’S VERSE
Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.
Daniel 3:17-18 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
We often think of real faith as superseding reality. Miracles do that. Faith, on the other hand, is exercised with the full knowledge of the reality before them. God is the one who does the miracles, we are the ones who exercise faith in the uncertainly with a confidence in God and His love. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were a perfect example. They exercised tremendous faith in God and gave a great testimony of it. They said “No” to worshipping the idol and testified that they knew God would deliver them from the furnace. Then they said, “But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” They had a strong faith, believing that God was going to deliver them. However, knowing that it is God that makes the final decision and they may die, they still chose to obey God rather than the King. They trusted Him for the outcome. Today, God is able to deliver you from your own fiery furnace. Believe it, live in that belief and trust Him for the outcome.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, You know what I am in need of. Please increase my faith. Help me believe You for deliverance. Help me move ahead in faith and trust You with the outcome. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
