Patience

TODAY’S VERSE
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
Hebrews 10:36 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Life can get hard. There are times when we are so tempted to throw it all away. “Give up” repeats over and over in our mind. We try to pray but the words get swallowed by obsessive thinking. But God! God has not left. He is nearer than your own breath and with a change of focus we can see things differently. The author of Hebrews comes right out and tells us that what we need at times like this is patient endurance. God has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us. He says that He hears our prayers so we pray. And we wait. Again the author of Hebrews writes, “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!” So today trust! Be patient. Wait. He is here. Continue to do His will. You will receive what He has promised.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for caring for me. Help me to be patient and to endure. Thank You that I can trust in Your never failing love.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
