Faith

TODAY’S VERSE
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Faith is a confidence. It is not wishful thinking. It is not mental assent. It is an assurance that what we believe will happen, will happen. But it is not faith in the event, it is faith in the event maker. We often act as if faith is a magic chant. We say, “Power is in our words.” But faith is so much more than words. It is sensing His will and agreeing with Him. This only comes out of a relationship, a deep heart felt experience with the Lord Himself. Oh that we would know Him more so when life’s situations come, we can talk to Him, be assured of His will, and pray in faith believing. Today grow in your relationship with Him and your faith and confidence will grow too.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I want to know You more. I want to know Your will. I want to do Your bidding. I want a deep loving relationship with You so my faith is an outgrowth of knowing who You are.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
