TODAY’S VERSE
They did not believe God or trust him to care for them.- Despite his wonders, they refused to trust him.
Psalms 78:22,32 (NLT)
TODAY’S THOUGHT
You cannot live off yesterday’s trust. Each day is new and you must make choices all day as to whether or not you will put your trust in God. Fear, doubt, sadness, disgust; our emotions can skew our judgement and set off a wildfire of inner dialog challenging our faith in the Lord. Sunshine yesterday, cloudy today, our faith changes with the weather. But God is not the weather. He is never changing. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. The ability to remember God’s faithfulness will feed the flame of faith and allow us to trust Him over and over again. This is why Paul wrote, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Today, tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done for you.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. I come in faith believing that as You have done mighty deeds in the past, You will meet my needs today. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN
