Praise God

TODAY’S VERSE

“Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.”
Psalms 145:3 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I don’t praise the Lord enough. How easily I forget. I become so familiar with Him that I take His presence for granted. Worst, I get so embroiled in my own drama that I don’t take the time to consider God at all! Now I agree with the Psalmist, I can’t begin to fathom the greatness of God. But that’s no excuse for not praising Him. Who said anything about fathoming all of God’s greatness? How about appreciation for the little I do know. I am suggesting that I could do something about knowing God much better than I do right now and perhaps that would result in a better spirit of praise and worship. Today, let’s start with what the Psalmist has said. The Lord is indeed GREAT. He is awesome, all powerful and mighty, much more so than we can imagine! With that said, let us praise Him for who He is. Let us thank Him that He is even mindful of us. And let us commit ourselves to knowing Him better and better. Why? Because He is worthy of all our praise!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Today, Father, I come to praise You. I praise You for Your greatness. I praise You for Your majesty. I praise You for Your awesome power. Worthy are You Lord to receive all my praise.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
