No Worry

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.”
John 14:1 (NLT)

Have you ever disagreed with something someone said and challenged them by saying, ‘Who says?” Who said it can make a huge difference. That is why today’s verse makes such an impact. Not only is the content radical but the person saying it was even more radical. Jesus lived what He taught. If there was ever a person who exemplified trusting God the Father, it was Jesus. Even during His darkest hour, when He fell to the ground overwhelmed at the thought of the crucifixion and taking on the penalty for our sins, Jesus trusted God. He asked God the Father to cancel the task but then qualified His request with, “Nevertheless Your will be done.” There are many things that can trouble us on any given day. Today resolve to trust God. If your heart starts to get anxious, if you begin to fret, if you feel your blood pressure rising, don’t let your heart be troubled. Trust in God.

Dear Father, there are so many things going on. I find myself getting all worked up. Forgive me for the sin of worry. Help me trust You and not worry, doubt or fret. In Jesus’ name.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
