If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:8-9 (NIV)

Why do we try so hard to hide our faults? Why do we grab a mask to wear instead of being who we really are? The truth is, we are human beings with a propensity toward sin. We make mistakes. We deliberately make choices that are wrong. At any given moment we can be selfish, fearful, lustful, prideful, and hateful or participate in any number of other negative behaviors. But participating in sin isn’t as troubling as denying that we have sinned at all. If we deny our wrongdoing what can be done? But, if instead of denial, we confess to God, He will forgive us. He will guide us and help us. Today, don’t hide your behavior from God. Don’t pretend that everything is okay if it isn’t. Be real, talk to God, confess and He will forgive you.

Lord Jesus, forgive me for my denial. I know I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I come to You now and confess. As I share with You the sins burdening my heart, forgive me. Cleanse me and help me live for You.

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
