Brokenhearted

TODAY’S VERSE

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Psalms 34:18 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I’ve been there. Have you? You know, when you feel like giving up hope. When your head is spinning and you don’t know what to do. When the shock is wearing off, reality starts to set in and you feel dizzy and sick. When your heart is so heavy you can hardly breathe. When you sob so hard you don’t think you have any tears left. None of us goes through this life unscathed. We all have a story. But what I absolutely love about today’s verse is the assurance that no matter what we go through, God is close to the brokenhearted. The fact that when our spirits are crushed we can count on the Lord to help us return to joy. Today, turn to Him. Lift up your face, the Lord is near.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear gracious Father. Thank You for Your love. Praise You for Your comfort when I am brokenhearted and Your rescue when my spirit is crushed. I need You Lord. Your unfailing Love never fails.
AMEN

About Ronald

I am a Christian who deeply believes in God and the purposes He has put us on earth for. I started in ministry when I was 20 years old. I have been involved in both evangelism and compassion ministires. I deeply believe in our mission to help those in need. I believe however, that the church has missed our calling. We have not been effective in loving others as we would love ourselves. We have not been using our Spiritual Gifts to make a difference in this world. We have not mobilized to be the salt and light in the world. The goal of this web site is to help those interested to use their Spiritual Gifts in order to fulfill the mission Christ has given us to love the world.
